Finally succumbed to having a blog...

So, finally I have a blog. I've always been the type that keeps many things to myself, but I think the time has finally come to open up a little, mostly coz I'll be away for quite some time, and it's kinda like a way of communicating with everyone.

So what's coming up for me?
a) Internship
7th May I'll be leaving for Shenzhen, China, and I'll be working for this PCB manufacturing company called Speedy-Tech Electronics Ltd. It's an MNC with its HQ in Philippines. Will be doing some HR-related stuff there, but not quite sure yet. But that's the thing about internships right? You can work in some huge finance company but doing sai-gang. A lot of students tend to complain about doing sai-gang, but I always think wah liew, what kind of work you wan to change the world with in 3 or 4 months? I think as long as I'm kept busy and I can observe and learn I'm quite satisfied liao. Hoping to pop by Hong Kong and Macau during the weekends. And I hope the colleagues there are friendly at least. This is an excellent opportunity for me to brush up my koyak chinese.

b) Exchange to Japan
Things are kinda hazy for this still, but the plan is to go on an exchange programme for 4 months in Japan. Hopefully this will be a linguistic experience for me as well.

All in all, I think it's safe to say I won't be in school for quite a while, so one of the functions of this blog is to keep people up-to-date. One of the key things is also to share my thoughts about my experiences over these uncertain times, things, people I meet, situations etc. I hope you'll find this an interesting read. And I'll try to post as much pics as possible so it's not so boring. Feel free to leave me comments too yeah? And I'll try to get a tag board going.
